On Wednesday 30th January 2013 The Making Space Dialogues hosted its first in a series of artist talks on Local Talent our visiting artist was photographer Emilia Krysztofiak.
Our second series of lectures is based on local artists either native or currently located in the Midlands. These talks aim to showcase a diverse range of practices and disiciplines. We will also examine how artists promote and establish their practice in a rural location.
Emilia Krysztofiak, a native of Poland, has been living in Athlone since 2006, she is a self taught photographer whose interest and involvement in the practice has flourished since she came to Ireland, last year she established her own company Rua Photography.
